On Sunday, March 29, 2026, a grand event was held at Khandeshwar, Navi Mumbai, organized by Saint Gadge Baba Saint Dilip Baba Vichar Manch, Vidarbha Vaibhav Mandir Mumbai, Vidarbha Samaj Sangh Mumbai, and Saint Gadge Baba Dharmshala. The event was attended by dignitaries including Saint Dilip Baba, local leaders, MLAs, MPs, and other respected guests.
The program celebrated Gadge Baba’s birth anniversary, with renowned speaker Engr. Pawan Maharaj Dawande highlighting his thoughts through captivating folk songs. The focus was on spreading Sant Dilip Baba’s work and message. Ashfaq Khopekar, President of Dadsaheb Phalke Film Foundation Awards spoke about the greatness of saints and the deeds of today’s sadhus, urging everyone to carry forward Gadge Baba’s and Dilip Baba’s work in eradicating superstition, promoting cleanliness, and spreading education to uplift the nation.
Dignitaries honored included Ashfaque Khopekar, MLA Balaram Patil, Ashok Barabde, Gajananrao Nage, Purushottam Bhuyar, Uttamrao Lonar, corporators Vikas Gharat and Happy Singh, and others. They were felicitated with shawls and Gadge Baba mementos by Saint Dilip Baba. The event included a community dinner (Bhandara).
